Headlines – The Business

Ron Powell continues to lead Headlines, heading a team of experienced staff. Ron is well-known in Whangarei, having started Headlines in 1971, offering the first salon to cater for men and women and the first blow-waver in the district. He brought the latest techniques in cutting from overseas to Whangarei, often long before salons in Auckland followed. After more than 30 years as a stylist Ron no longer works on the floor but continues to offer his experience and guidance to the team.

The Headlines team are industry leaders, continuing to focus on the latest cutting techniques and unique colouring to enhance every client’s style. Robyn Banks leads the team, ensuring the professional attention to detail that makes every client feel special.
